Thomas Tuchel has just had his first pre-match press conference at Chelsea, and predictably he was asked about N’Golo Kante’s injury situation (he’d better get used to that!).
Fortunately for Tuchel, his first update was good – N’Golo Kante returned to training today after a couple of weeks off, first suspended and then injured.
We still wouldn’t expect to see him back this weekend, given it’s been a few weeks without a game for the France star now, but it also wouldn’t be a total surprise to see him play an hour or so, given it’s just match sharpness he’s missing.
