Kaveh Solhekol was just on Sky Sports with details about Thomas Tuchel’s contract at Chelsea.
In the space of an afternoon we’ve gone from Frank Lampard’s sacking to Tuchel being chosen as his successor – and now we’re getting into the nitty gritty about getting him to the club.
It’s an 18 month deal – which is unusually short, but it does have a further year as an option that the club can activate. It seems a nice compromise between a manager who doesn’t stick around long, and a club who discard their coaches at some rate.
