Chelsea have called up a group of youth team players to join the first team coronavirus bubble, indicating that there could be a few debuts to come in Sunday’s game against Morecambe.
Tino Anjorin, Tino Livramento, Jude Soonsup-Bell and Lewis Bate all look like they’ve got a chance of some minutes, and that would mark a senior debut for all of the latter 3.
Frank Lampard almost confessed as much when he was asked about the youngsters and their presence at training:
“Some may be involved,” he admitted, although of course he’s never too keen to give too much away about his lineup before kickoff.
