Chelsea had an easy ride against Morecambe at the weekend, but that doesn’t mean there was nothing we can take from the game looking forward.
Kai Havertz’ goal in particular gave us food for thought. His towering header reminded us all of how good he is in the air, as he found Azpi’s superb cross and nodded in.
If we can get him into those positions more often he will really profit – even against bigger teams. Reece James and Azpi can provide the supply, we just need the team clicking so that Havertz is making that run at the right time.
