Frank Lampard is under serious pressure right now, and while he might not lose his job imminently, he needs things to start heading in the right direction very soon.
David Ornstein, who’s always one of the best connected journos out there, had a clear view of what Lampard needs to do to turn things around.
He pointed out that the club’s expensive summer signings – Timo Werner and Kai Havertz in particular, aren’t playing well or fitting in yet. “He’ll have to get that right”, Ornstein said of Lampard and how he can save himself now.
