Frank Lampard was sacked earlier today, so the next couple of days will see a slew of reactions from around the Premier League ahead of the midweek round of fixtures.
First up was Brendan Rodgers, the last man to play against Lampard in the top flight. He bemoaned how hasty the decision was, saying Lampard “hasn’t been given that time” necessary for any manager to build a successful team.
