ESPN don’t hang around with their hot takes, not waiting for Thomas Tuchel’s signature to dry before unleashing a wave of forthright opinions.
He took charge for tonight’s game against Wolves despite having had just a couple of hours to train with the players. There’s no way we could expect him to have a serious impact on the style of play yet – but that didn’t stop ESPN reacting as if he had.
They said they were tired of the endless sideways passing his team produced as they laboured to a 0-0 draw with Wolves.
