Tabloid names four potential Thomas Tuchel transfer targets for the summer

Chelsea’s new chapter with Thomas Tuchel got underway last night, just two days after sacking Frank Lampard as head coach.

They drew 0-0 against Wolves, but Tuchel cut an excited figure on the side lines and looks like a man who is very happy to be here managing our great club.

This season the expectations remain high, and Tuchel will believe he can reach top four at least with the team. Then in the summer, he might need to look at adding a new player or two to improve even more.

The Express have put together a four-man shortlist of potential Tuchel targets.

They name the big one of course, Erling Haaland from Dortmund, alongside centre back Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig, Declan Rice from West Ham – even though he was more of a Lampard target, and finally Josh Doig from Hibernian, who is perhaps the most surprising of the lot.

Doig is an 18-year old left back being monitored by Chelsea, according to Sky Sports.
