As is usually the case with football right now, there has been a host of mid-week games to keep us entertained during a nationwide lockdown.
Last night, Chelsea fans had their eyes firmly fixed on one of their own academy graduates, Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Chelsea are considering a move for long-term club target Boubacar Kamara, read the full story HERE!
The Blues midfielder was on show for his loan club Fulham once again as they took on Manchester United in the Premier League.
Unfortunately he was on the losing side on the night, but the result doesn’t paint the whole picture.
There were very positive signs from the England international once again, with that old confidence and swagger returning in abundance.
As picked up on by some of these Chelsea fans below, his quick and powerful drives forward with the ball is back, but he just needs to improve that end product in front of goal, something that he has always naturally had as a player. That will come.
This Ruben Loftus-Cheek fella looks pretty good.

Pivoting away from Chelsea for a moment, but also connected, it's great to Ruben Loftus-Cheek playing so well and regaining his confidence.
🤞 he keeps it up, even if he doesn't come back to the Blues (would love if he did), he's just a joy to watch 👌#CFC #FULMUN

His finishing has let him down but positive signs from Ruben Loftus-Cheek tonight. Flashes of the player we saw before that awful injury in 2019. #CFC

If you could recall any players back that we have on loan who would it be? For me I would get Loftus Cheek back. pic.twitter.com/xId3x2amcE

Getting back to his best 💪 definitely needed next season if he continues to improve

Really came alive in the second half. There’s still a good player in him, smart move to loan him out

If he keeps on playing like he has been doing in recent games and stays fit for the remainder of the season, could be an interesting one next season

Needs to improve on his finishing that's it

Ruben is good when playing football outside Chelsea, because Chelsea playing short and soft passes but not long and running balls.
