This next subject is the only one that has the potential to be a major transfer story for Chelsea this winter, well at least that is what you’d imagine.
The Blues spent a lot in the summer, which is why this window is set up to be very quiet in comparison, all except possible outgoings.
Which players could be leaving Chelsea this month? Find out here!
But the one story that always has and still does have a potential to bubble up this month, is Chelsea’s keen interest in signing West Ham midfielder, Declan Rice.
The England international is a priority signing for Frank Lampard, but it is unclear whether they will make an offer this month or wait until the summer.
The Mirror have ran a report claiming they’ve heard from Rice’s pals.
They claim that they’ve been told that Rice is not interested in a move to Manchester United and wants to stay in London.
Perhaps the most significant part of the piece is the following quote from Rice’s ‘pals’..
“Dec has been flattered by interest in him but he doesn’t see himself moving to Manchester. It’s obvious where he’d like his next move to be.”
