Mail: Chelsea academy stars viewed as key men for Tuchel, but Haaland No.1 summer target

Chelsea confirmed that Thomas Tuchel has become the new head coach of the first team last night, and the new boss got straight into the action taking his first training session at Cobham.

A day after the club made the decision to sack Frank Lampard, Tuchel has gotten straight to work, and that is because his new team face Wolves tonight in the Premier League.

Chelsea need points, and need to climb back up the league fast, Tuchel has his work cut out for sure.

There have been questions whether Tuchel will still favour the academy lads as much as Lampard has, but The Daily Mail have released a reassuring piece in that sense.

The likes of Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, and Reece James will remain key players and are rated highly by Tuchel.

But they also say that Chelsea WILL still be pursuing Erling Haaland from Dortmund as their number one priority signing this summer.
