Chelsea’s superb end-to-end 11 pass move is goal of the weekend contender

Today’s game was supposed to be a morale lifting win over lower league opposition, but after Kepa’s mistake there were some fears that it might not turn out that way.

Chelsea’s third goal sealed the win however, and the manner in which it was scored was the icing on the cake.

The Blues played their way from their own touchline all the way to the Luton goal-line, where Tammy Abraham was on hand to turn the ball in for his hattrick.

There were eleven passes in the move according to our count, and while it will struggle to beat Wolves’ Vitinha for goal of the week, it’s got to be a contender for the best team goal at the very least.

You can count them for yourself watching the clip embedded here, with footage from Match of the Day:

Let’s hope that this little slice of magic gives us some of that confidence we were hoping for.
