The Chelsea board and Frank Lampard have some pretty big decisions to make this month in terms of player departures.
The squad is large, and in my opinion desperately needs reducing in the centre back and full back areas.
Which players could be leaving Chelsea this month? Find out here!
Marcos Alonso is one player who I am surprised to still be a Chelsea player 12 days into this window, having not featured barely at all for Frank Lampard in his two seasons as boss so far.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is another one who could leave this window in the search of more regular football.
Chelsea are open to letting both leave in January according to Goal, but their high wages could be a stumbling block for any potential suitors.
Meanwhile, Emerson Palmieri could also leave, but it will need to be the right offer – A permanent deal or loan with obligation.
However, as always expected, it is Alonso who is most likely to leave out of these two.
It may be quite evident from Frank Lampard's selections but Chelsea prefer to offload Marcos Alonso than Emerson in January.
Emerson will only leave for a good offer. A permanent deal or loan with obligation.
Alonso could get a straight loan move, but his wages are high. #CFC https://t.co/3PjINeA241
