I said today was going to be a crazy media day for Chelsea, and things are bubbling right up.
We all know by now the immense pressure that Frank Lampard is now under as Chelsea boss, and things got a lot worse last night after the 2-0 defeat against Leicester City.
Chelsea are also looking to sign a top class new centre back this summer, find out who is on the shortlist HERE!
Lampard and the players both looked totally defeated and deflated after the game last night, and it has a feel that things could well be coming to an end for the club legend.
Two reports today from strong sources suggest that no decision has been made by the Chelsea board yet, but Fabrizio Romano describes the board as being ‘furious’ with something potentially happening in the ‘coming hours’ on his latest Here We Go Podcast.
"No decision has been made on Frank Lampard yet, but the board are furious with what is going on and something could happen in the coming hours."
– @FabrizioRomano on @podcastherewego (also mentions Thomas Tuchel as one of the main potential replacements).

He mentions Thomas Tuchel as the potential replacement, and another reporter Jan Aage Fjortoft has confirmed that the Chelsea board have spoken with Tuchel’s representatives regarding taking over as the next manager.
Thomas Tuchel’s representatives have been talking to Chelsea about him becoming the next Chelsea manager.
No decision has been made in terms of Lampard yet, but if he goes Tuchel is seen as the best replacement In the middle of the season.

Re: Tuchel
Agents and Chelsea – representatives have been talking about bringing Tuchel in.
I understand no decision has been made in terms of Lampard yet, but if he goes Tuchel is seen as the best replacement In the middle of the season— Jan Aage Fjørtoft 🇳🇴 (@JanAageFjortoft) January 20, 2021
I think he should be given the second chance with three games if he doesn’t improve than be replace.
