Chelsea have draw with Aston Villa at home, with Cesar Azpilicueta playing while Reece James rested a hamstring issue.
Frank Lampard was asked about his right back after the game, and said he had a “small hamstring issue”. It wasn’t clear whether that will be enough to rule him out of this weekend’s game – if it happens.
Given he was able to play against Arsenal on Boxing Day, we’re confident he will have a good chance to recover in time for a start against City, but we’ll have to wait and see whether that game happens.
