Gilmour has returned to the squad again now and played his first minutes back for Lampard on Wednesday night’s 4-0 win over Sevilla in the Champions League.
He is gaining worldwide plaudits and touted to become one of the best around, and many clubs are starting to take note.
Italian giants Napoli being one of them, according to Calciomercato.
They are interested in loaning Gilmour to help their midfield in January, as per the report.
Gilmour does need to play, but I’d be surprised if Chelsea let him go in the winter.
