Chelsea are heading north to face Newcastle United in the early Premier League kick off tomorrow lunch time, and Frank Lampard will be holding his breath on some last minute inclusions.
A number of Lampard’s players had not trained yesterday and the last we heard was that they were waiting on Covid-19 testing after arriving back from international duty.
Lampard isn't 100% on the availability of the players who have been on international duty last night. Hints 12.30 kick off hasn't helped. Testing on them to come later today. #CFC https://t.co/1qKh0QGUC3

There are concerns over Timo Werner after he has yet to be spotted in any new training images, and Kai Havertz may or may not be available after being in isolation for the last two weeks.

Not that I am aware of, but I haven't specifically asked. Lampard had not seen Werner since international duty when we spoke to him yesterday.

Predicting a starting line up due to this is very difficult, but I am going to go with the hope that Werner is fine and perhaps maybe his covid test just took longer to come back or something, but the signs at the moment are not ideal.
*UPDATE – Timo Werner has since been seen training today and is all good and well!

Thiago Silva has been ruled out due to long-distance traveling, so Antonio Rudiger is likely to get the nod alongside Kurt Zouma.
Predicted Xl to face Newcastle:
(4-3-3): Mendy, James, Rudiger, Zouma, Chilwell. Kante, Kovacic, Mount. Ziyech, Werner, Abraham.
