(Video): “Something special” – Frank Lampard hails one aspect of Timo Werner’s game

Chelsea beat Newcastle 2-0 at St James’ Park today after Timo Werner played in Tammy Abraham for the game-settling second goal.

The German forward had messed up in front of goal a couple of times before that, so it was important for him to be the one to make the difference as he did, carrying the ball at incredible speed and then putting it on a plate for his teammate.

Frank Lampard discussed his performance after the game, pointing out his threat on the transition, and calling the pace with which he travelled with the ball “something special”.
