They’ve done it.
Chelsea don’t deserve it, but they’ve nicked this one late on.
They hadn’t played well after their early goal, and were deservedly pegged back by Rennes in the 85th minute.
But Olivier Giroud has popped up – as he does so often – with a late winner.
The Frenchman rose incredibly high, headed the ball over the struggling Gomis in goal, but under the bar.
