Chelsea beat Rennes 2-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, but it certainly wasn’t all plain sailing for Frank Lampard’s side.
He needed a last gasp Olivier Giroud header to win the game and take away all three points on the night.

Timo Werner had missed a couple of good chances during the match, and one of those was right before Giroud scored. The French international had pounced on a tame shot that deflected up in the air from Werner, a chance he should have scored.
