When Mateo Kovacic was brought into the team to face Sheffield United today, we were expecting him to be working the ball side to side more than getting it forward quickly.
But with the Blues 1-0 down early the Croatian was forced into attack mode, and he quickly made the difference here. His aggressive run was picked out by Hakim Ziyech, and Kova then pulled it back intelligently to Tammy Abraham, who scored his second in as many games.
Now we can hopefully relax and get our rhythm back.
