(Video): Frank Lampard’s touching gesture as he consoles son of legendary goalkeeper

Legendary England goalkeeper Ray Clemence died this week after a long battle with cancer, and there were tributes to him at the Three Lions games over the break.

There will be plenty more around various grounds at club level this weekend, and in Chelsea’s early kickoff we’ve already seen one nice moment.

Frank Lampard went to seek out Newcastle coach Stephen Clemence, the great man’s son, and the two embraced and spoke on the pitch ahead of kickoff.

We send our best wishes to all of Ray’s friends and family.
