Well, it was coming.
Chelsea have been riding their luck for most of this game, and there was only so long Edouard Mendy could save them for.
Rennes have been building pressure, and from a corner Sehrou Guirassy was given a free jump at the ball.
His thumping header beat Mendy, and quite rightly the game is now level. As it stands, another home goal looks for more likely than a Chelsea winner.
A point here isn’t terrible, but it would have been so nice to wrap this group up nice and early.
