Three big clubs reportedly in for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud in January

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has once again found himself in a familiar situation at the club.

The French international has had to make do with a bit-part role under Frank Lampard, only managing late sub appearances and mainly just warming the bench.

Who are Chelsea’s centre back targets for the summer? Find out HERE.

This isn’t good enough for a striker who needs to be playing regular football this season ahead of the Euros this summer, and his situation either needs to drastically change this month, or he is likely to ask for a move in January.

Naturally, Giroud is not short on potential suitors, as reported by WAGNH.

The most obvious club is Inter Milan, with Antonio Conte having a known admiration for the veteran forward.

But AC Milan are also interested in signing him as per the same report, as well as American side Inter Miami.

This is certainly developing into what could become the big story of the winter transfer window, and we will await to see if Chelsea try and replace Giroud if he does leave.
