Sheffield United missing four key players today, and verdict whether Ethan Ampadu can play

Chelsea are gearing up to face Sheffield United today in another massive Premier League match for both sides.

Chris Wilder’s side are currently sat second from bottom, but this really is not a true perspective of how they have been performing so far and just how good they can be.

Make no mistake, this will be a tough game for Frank Lampard’s side today, but they will be firmly on the hunt for all three points.

One major plus point is that Chelsea’s on loan midfielder Ethan Ampadu will not be allowed to face his parent club today, with Premier League rules permitting this, as per Goal and Football London.

Ampadu has been looking very good for The Blades this season, and I’m sure he would have liked to have shown Chelsea what he can do.

United will also be missing three other players, according to the report from Football London.

They are also without central defender Jack O’Connell, midfielder John Fleck, and Lys Mousset will miss the trip to the capital after picking up a foot injury in pre-season.
