Romano: Chelsea consider letting Kepa Arrizabalaga leave in January

It has all gone horribly wrong for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

He was signed by the club as their big money long-term number one stopper for years to come, but things have just gone from bad to worse.

Frank Lampard has lost his faith in Kepa entirely, and as a result they went out and signed Edouard Mendy from Rennes this summer.

Mendy has arrived and already firmly got hold of the regular Chelsea number one spot and isn’t prepared to let it go, and this is even worse news for Kepa.

The Spanish international is now likely to be very concerned about his place in the national squad for this summers Euros, and as a result Chelsea are considering letting him leave in January to go and get game time.
