Report: Chelsea striker plotting his exit from the club in January

Chelsea were always going to be faced with a number of unhappy players this season after going into it with such a large squad.

Many players are currently not getting as much game time as they want, some aren’t getting any minutes at all.

Blues striker Olivier Giroud has played just 33 minutes for Chelsea this season, according to The Daily Mail.

And Football London states that as a result, the veteran France international is now plotting a move away from the club this January in order to get regular game time ahead of the Euros in the summer.

The 34-year old has dropped down the pecking order behind Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham, and he is very much playing a bit-part role at the club now.

Giroud’s experience would bit vital for any top side and there will no doubt be a queue of clubs looking to sign him this winter.
