Chelsea took part in their final preparation training session before their latest Champions League Group stage match yesterday.
The Blues face off against French side Rennes in the competition tonight, and they will be looking to pull away at the top of the group after a good win against Krasnodar last week.
All the familiar faces were seen training with the group yesterday, all bar one.
There was no sign of new midfielder Kai Havertz in Chelsea training yesterday, sparking suggestions that he might be getting rested by Frank Lampard, a lot like Thiago Silva was last Champions League game.

This has not been confirmed by any Chelsea official, nor has it been reported that Havertz is injured. So it remains a mystery as to why he did not train yesterday.
Lampard spoke at his press conference yesterday and there was no mention of Havertz, which does appear to be rather odd.
