Fikayo Tomori and Callum Hudson-Odoi pictured on coronavirus-unfriendly night out in London

Neither Fikayo Tomori nor Callum Hudson-Odoi featured for Chelsea in the win over Sheffield United yesterday, and there were a few question marks about their absence.

Of course neither is a starter at the moment, and there were plenty of other options off the bench, so there weren’t too many questions asked.

But as it turns out, there may be a more negative reason.

The Daily Mirror yesterday reported that the pair had been out partying at the weekend, breaking the coronavirus regulations that say that only members of the same household should meet up together indoors.

This was before the new lockdown was put in place this week.

Overall it’s just a small technical mistake, but given Hudson-Odoi already got in trouble earlier this year for breaking the rules, it’s not a great look for him.

The pair are trying to force their way into the team, so in any case don’t want to be seen out partying, in all honesty.
