Jorginho has a habit of playing long passes over the top which can be very frustrating when it doesn’t come off.
But with Timo Werner up front it’s a real weapon, and we just saw it executed perfectly.
The Italy international was played the ball square in his own half, and with the Southampton defence high up the pitch he knew he could release his striker with a long ball.
It looped high in the air but Werner was able to stay calm and knock it over the keeper before heading home for his second goal of the afternoon.
