It looked like Chelsea had just taken the lead against Krasnodar in the Champions League, but the Russians have been given a huge let off.
A blatant foul on Timo Werner gave the Blues the chance to take a 1-0 lead, but Jorginho’s penalty hit the post, and then the goalkeeper’s backside, and Werner wasn’t able to score on the follow up.
It’s a brutal moment – we wanted a couple of first half goals to put this one to bed. But the way the play is going, we should be able to conjure another.
