Absolute chaos.
Chelsea looked totally shattered for a moment there, having been pegged back from 2-0 up to 2-2.
All the momentum was with Southampton, and we had started to fear for Frank Lampard’s team’s confidence.
But then, just as hope was fading, the Blues unleashed a searing counter, Timo Werner speeding down the right and pulling the ball back for Kai Havertz to finish easily.
Now, can we hold onto this lead a little more effectively than the last? And maybe even add a fourth to wrap it up? Is that too much to ask?
