Chelsea signed a lot of quality attacking reinforcements this summer, and this has created a great problem for Frank Lampard.
Although describing it as a problem doesn’t really suit. Lampard needs to find a way to get the best out of all his attacking players, and which positions to use them in.
Hakim Ziyech so far seems to be playing wide on the right, but this could change. At the moment Kai Havertz is Lampard’s first choice number ten, but don’t be surprised to see Ziyech deployed there, it is the position he sees himself playing, as he revealed in his press conference yesterday…
Hakim Ziyech on whether he still sees himself as a no.10.
This is the kind of tactical insight players get drilled into them at Ajax! pic.twitter.com/OZugvBF2wh
