(Video): Callum Hudson-Odoi celebrates first start with well-taken goal

Chelsea missed a penalty against Krasnodar earlier in the half and looked to have lost some confidence, but they have the lead now thanks to some great individual work from Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The winger made use of a quick layoff from Kai Havertz to cut inside and drill a shot at the Russian goalie, who made a real mess of it and allowed the ball to cross the line.

He had been bailed out on the spot kick before, so he can’t complain too much.

It was hardly a slick team goal, but hopefully it will open the game up more for some attacking moves in the second half.
