Victor Moses linked with €10m move to Russia

Victor Moses didn’t manage to find a loan move away from Chelsea during the Premier League transfer window, and he’s now running out of chances to go elsewhere as the markets across Europe start to close up.

Russia is always a good option for operations like this, with its schedule not aligned with the major leagues, allowing for early/late moves. In this case, it’s Spartak Moscow who have been linked on Sports.Ru with a move for the winger.

They apparently are keen to arrange a loan deal, with a €10m buyout option. After 10 rounds of the competition they are battling with Zenit St Petersburg for the title, and it’s understandable they want to press their advantage by strengthening now.

A return to Italy to link up with Antonio Conte is now impossible – so this may be Victor’s best way out. Sticking around at Chelsea on the bench doesn’t help anyone.
