Even with the transfer window being closed and not re-opening for another three months, the seemingly weekly stories of N’Golo Kante wanting to leave Chelsea are still in circulation.
This time, a fresh report from French publication La Parisien suggests that the Chelsea midfielder wants to leave the club after ‘tension’ grew between himself and Blues boss Frank Lampard.
They believe that Kante wanted time off training to attend a friends wedding, which was subsequently denied by Lampard, thus causing said ‘tension’.

Kante is not getting any younger, but he once again proved his world class status in another great performance for France this week. Lampard knows his importance and knows how essential he is.
Besides, do we honestly think that Kante is the type of person to fall out with his boss? I genuinely believe that there is more chance of Lampard having an argument with himself than having an argument with Kante.
I think it’s probably safe to take this one with a pinch of salt…
