Mendy, Silva, and Ziyech start – Predicted Chelsea line up vs Sevilla

It’s another exciting Champions League night for Chelsea, and this is a club that has had many of these.

Winning the trophy in 2012 is up their with the biggest achievements of this club, and whenever we play in the competition again, these happy memories come flooding back for all involved in the club.

Tonight we face Sevilla in Group E of the 2020/21 tournament opener, and we expect a very tough match from a good opposition.

Chelsea and Sevilla have both had similar stuttering starts to their new domestic league campaigns, so they will both be looking at tonight to kick-start their seasons.

Chelsea look to have gotten Edouard Mendy through a late fitness test to be ready, and after his cameo against Southampton on Saturday, I’d expect to see Hakim Ziyech from the start. Thiago Silva will also surely start the match.

Predicted Chelsea Xl to face Sevilla (4-2-3-1):

Mendy, Azpilicueta, Zouma, Silva, Chilwell, Jorginho, Kante, Havertz, Pulisic, Ziyech, Werner.
