Last night saw the domestic transfer deadline day between the Premier League and lower league clubs.
Whilst the top flight could not trade between each other after October the 5th, they were able to sell, buy, or loan players from and to the lower leagues.
Chelsea took advantage of this and sent defender Jake Clarke-Salter on loan to Birmingham City, a club that the 23-year old knows well having been on loan there last season.
It seemed like a deal that was destined to be completed, and Birmingham were pleased to get him back as you can see below…
