End of the line for Kepa as he loses poll to 38-year old by embarrassing amount

As Frank Lampard confirms that Edouard Mendy is his new number one goalkeeper for this season, things just get worse for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Kepa was given a chance to salvage his Chelsea career on Saturday, but he absolutely blew it out the water by making a terrible mistake to concede a goal.

After this match, it appears that Lampard lost any slight confidence that he may have had left in the club’s record signing.

But as if things couldn’t get any worse for Kepa, Chelsea have named former goalkeeper turned Technical Advisor, Petr Cech, in their 25-man squad for the season.

Cech has been named as Chelsea’s 4th goalkeeper for the season, but the reality is he is probably their second best keeper ahead of Kepa on current form, and Willy Caballero, who is actually a year older than Cech!

It really does show the lack of confidence that Lampard has in Kepa, and the results of this poll below really do suggest that he is well and truly finished at Chelsea.

Almost 90% of voters chose Cech, incredible!
