We’ve tried to hold off on writing Chelsea transfer rumours for a while now, as it’s just seemed so silly.
After a summer where we signed just about everyone available, the idea we’re heading back to the market before we’ve even settled this group in seems excessive, but that’s just how the game works these days.

After leading the charge with his reporting of the moves for Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, the ever reliable Christian Falk of Bild has been quoting a new target for us – Denis Zakaria of Borussia Monchengladbach.
The dangerous attacker is also on the “list” of Bayern and Man U according to Falk, and given our expenditure this summer, we’d back one of them to be favourite.
But we’ve also been reminded of how powerful Chelsea can be in the market when they want to be. Is it possible that we follow up this summer’s excesses with a similar approach in January?
