“Chelsea are a weird team” says Ryan Giggs ahead of Man U clash

Chelsea are set to take on Manchester United this weekend in the Saturday night kickoff at Old Trafford.

We’re excited to see how Frank Lampard’s team get on against United. The draw against Sevilla on Tuesday was frustrating, but it at least saw our first choice goalkeeper back in the side, and we should look even more comfortable together after a few extra days of training this week.

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs was asked about how he thought the game would go, and he had a pretty funny assessment of Lampard’s side in quotes picked up by the Metro:

“Chelsea are a weird team. They’ve had a clean sheet, they’re a dangerous side going forward but obviously you can get at them at the back.”

That’s a pretty accurate assessment, to be honest. Just when we think we’re bad we’re good, and just when we think we’re good we look bad. This weekend will tell us a lot about where we are as a side, against a Manchester United team that has had its own ups and downs in the last couple of years.
