Chelsea got a 4-0 win in the Champions League tonight in the early slot of games, and plenty of Blues fans seemed to go straight from that match into the Barcelona – Juventus game that followed.
There was plenty of early action, and a goal for Barcelona, so those who stayed tuned in were rewarded. This is the action we’re looking for in Europe.
Juventus struck back – but Alvaro Morata had two goals marked out for offside within ten minutes. This reminded all those Blues fans of his time at the Bridge, where he seemed to be unable to stop himself straying beyond the defensive line. “Born offside”, they crowed.
Two in a half, in a game like this though, is criminal. Maybe he will be able to take out that frustration in the second half? He looks well up for it.
