Chelsea have been named as one of the clubs interested in signing Borussia Monchengladback defensive midfielder, Denis Zakaria.
This is according to BILD reporter, Christian Falk, who tweeted the latest information this afternoon.
He explains that Chelsea will be involved in a battle with Manchester United, and Bayern Munich if they want to sign the 23-year old Swiss international.

Silly season never sleeps, and we know that Frank Lampard wants to sign a defensive midfielder having looked at Declan Rice this summer just gone.
West Ham held firm, and they are expected to hold firm once again if any further enquires come in during the next window or two.
So perhaps Chelsea are turning their attentions elsewhere with Zakaria?
There is no doubt of the quality he will bring, and I am sure he is probably going to be many fans preferred choice to come in that position due to his quality.
