(Video): Werner apologises to Havertz after bad decision

Kai Havertz and Timo Werner both started for Chelsea on Monday night against Brighton, for the first time.

It may have been their first game in Blue together, but they’ve played together for Germany plenty of times, and they know each other well.

Chelsea TV picked up on a great snippet from the game with their sidelines cameras, as Werner fired a shot at the near post rather than squaring it back to Havertz – and then apologised to his mate.

It was a lovely moment that highlighted the relationship between the two on the pitch that is only set to grow stronger.
