Like all tall players who have nice technique, Kai Havertz has a wonderful glide to his game. He’s just elegant to watch, his long limbs caressing the ball with smooth motions.
There’s a clip of him doing some solo exercises at Cobham yesterday under the watchful eye of Frank Lampard doing the rounds, and even though it’s simple stuff it’s enough to get the juices flowing.
The way he dribbles is nice enough, but his finishing (off both feet) is next level. Let’s not forget he’s great in the air, too.
