Two Premier League sides keen on Ruben Loftus-Cheek

West Ham and Aston Villa have been named as two of the sides who are keen on signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan.

Goal.com have the story about the midfielder’s future, with their Chelsea correspondent Nizaar Kinsella writing that the two Premier League teams are the most keen to get the elegant academy product on loan for the year.

Despite starting the first game of the season against Brighton, Loftus-Cheek was left out of the squad entirely against Barnsley last night, and his future now seems more in question than ever.

The 24 year old was “frustrated” by Frank Lampard’s decision to leave him out, and he’s got options in the two Claret teams.

John Terry is assistant at Aston Villa, perhaps giving the edge in any race, while West Ham have Declan Rice to potentially use as a bargaining chip.

We would be gutted to see RLC go, but a season on loan recovering his form and fitness might be what is best for his career.
