Oft-loaned Chelsea man Kenedy has joined newly promoted Granada for the season.
It’s the winger’s second consecutive spell in La Liga, following a moderately successful time at Getafe in the last campaign.
After a bright patch with Newcastle a few years ago, Kenedy has struggled to find a place where he can really shine, and after a year in Getafe’s ultra-rigid and defensive system under Jose Bordalas, he will hope that Granada provide a better platform – despite being favourites for relegation.

Brazilian Kenedy has never looked like making it at Stamford Bridge, despite getting some starts as a left wing back earlier in his time at the club.
This is really just a platform to improve his price and hopefully garner enough interest for a sale. We wish him all the best, and look forward to checking out how he gets on against the big boys in the Spanish top flight this season.
