This Saturday morning brings confirmation of another done deal at Chelsea Football club.
After all the arrivals of recent weeks, The Blues are confirming another departure today instead.
Room is needed in the squad, and fees are needed to come in and balance the books.
However, this particular deal is not a permanent deal, it is yet another loan move.
Unfortunately it is a sign of the times in football at the moment, many clubs are unable to spend the money they would usually spend due to the current financial climate off the back of the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
So Chelsea will once again need to settle with a nice little loan fee.
Davide Zappacosta has been announced as a Genoa player today, joining the Serie A side on a season-long loan deal.

It is unclear at the moment whether there is an option to buy fee included in the deal, but that is usually the way Chelsea do these deals so it is likely.
