The Rennes goalkeeper is finally set to be confirmed by Chelsea this week, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
He claims that we will see an ‘announcement’ made this week, with Mendy to Chelsea now ‘100% done’.

It will be a relief for Chelsea fans as they witnessed yet another shocking display from current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga in their defeat to Liverpool yesterday.
Ironically, Romano’s tweet update about Mendy came right after one of Kepa’s clinical errors yesterday! Talk about good timing!
