Amongst all the drama and excitement of the final week of the transfer window came the usual speculation regarding Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi potentially leaving the club.

However, as known by myself, this was merely agents sounding out the potential of Chelsea selling or loaning Hudson-Odoi due to his lack of playing time, as confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his Here we go Podcast today.
“Lampard and Chelsea want to keep Hudson-Odoi” says Romano, who has confirmed that he will be staying at the club this window at least.
Outgoings..
– Inter and Juventus trying to sign Alonso on loan.
– Everton want to sign Tomori but Chelsea looking to offload Rudiger instead.
– Zouma exit 'impossible'.
– Lampard and Chelsea want to keep Hudson-Odoi, wont leave this window.— Simon Phillips (@siphillipssport) September 30, 2020
This is refreshing news for Chelsea fans who still rate and expect the England international to come up trumps this season after fighting back from a serious achilles injury.
Romano also confirmed that it is ‘impossible’ that Kurt Zouma will leave the club this window, double good news!
